Ann DiMenna, Physiotherapist (CDT)

Ann brings expertise from a wide variety of therapy settings to serve the Markham and surrounding York Region area. Ann is a graduate of the University of Waterloo where she received a degree in Biochemistry, as well as the University of Toronto where she received a degree in Physiotherapy.
Ann has many years of clinical experience treating in a variety of clinical settings, including private practice, inpatient hospital settings and home care. Ann has extensive experience in treating complex hip, knee and shoulder problems, including post-operative rehabilitation.
Over the years, Ann has continued to add to her clinical expertise with post-graduate training in manual therapy, McKenzie back care techniques and integrated lymph drainage. In 2008, Ann completed post-graduate training in Combined Decongestive Therapy and is fully certified to treat patients with lymphedema. She is an active member of the Lymphedema Association of Ontario and has attended various conferences in Canada and the US on lymphedema.
Pooja Arora, Physiotherapist (CDT)
BA (Kinesiology), DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy)
Pooja has rehabilitation experience with a variety of populations and settings in the United States (US) and Canada. She completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2012 in New York, after which she moved to Chicago. Here, she worked at a rehabilitation hospital, where she did both pediatric rehabilitation and research. Upon becoming a Registered Physiotherapist in Canada, she joined Markham Lymphatic Centre and completed post-graduate training in Combined Decongestive Therapy from the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy in the US. She is fully certified to treat patients with lymphedema and is passionate about empowering them to manage this condition.
Anne Marie Chlorakos, Physiotherapist (CDT)
Anne Marie has over sixteen years of Physiotherapy experience. She is a graduate of The University of Western Ontario where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy. Anne Marie has had the opportunity to work in a number of different clinical settings including private practice, an industrial clinic, long term care facilities and home care. Anne Marie has completed many post graduate courses in the areas of manual therapy, McKenzie back and neck care, chronic pain management and kinesiotaping. Anne Marie completed post graduate training in Combined Decongestive Therapy from The Academy of Lymphatic Studies and is fully certified to treat patients with lymphedema.
Kaushika Logeswaran, Physiotherapist (CDT)
Kaushika graduated from University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland with a Masters in Physiotherapy. She is also a Registered Physiotherapist with The College of Physiotherapist of Ontario. Kaushika has gained a vast amount of knowledge and experience with general injuries, post-operative surgeries, sports injuries and musculoskeletal disorders. She is certified to perform Functional Capacity Evaluation, Concussion management and has recently certified as a CDT Therapist for treating lymphedema from Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy in California, USA. Prior to becoming a physiotherapist, Kaushika was a Registered Kinesiologist providing services in post-operative physiotherapy treatment, therapeutic modalities, exercise therapy, concussion rehabilitation and work conditioning program for long-term disability and WSIB patients. She is continuously looking for opportunities to enhance her quality of treatment. Kaushika’s main goal is to provide her patients with a positive experience during their rehabilitation process. Kaushika enjoys spending time with family and friends and goes to the gym in her spare time. Kaushika is also fluent in English and Tamil.
Jean LaMantia is a cancer survivor, registered dietitian and author of The Essential Cancer Treatment Nutrition Guide and Cookbook. After graduating from the University of Guelph with a bachelors of Applied Human Nutrition, she completed a clinical dietetic internship at The Toronto Western Hospital. She has held positions in several settings including in-patient dietitian, diabetes education centre, home care and private practice. For the past several years she has devoted her practice to helping cancer patients reduce their risk of recurrence by using evidence-supported food and nutrition guidelines.
Jean speaks with cancer survivors every day who have cleaned up their eating and made the changes that are important to them. By using her training as a registered dietitian, Jean helps these individuals fine tune their diets even more so that they can feel confident that they are doing everything they can to support themselves to live healthy lives post cancer.
Since joining The Markham Lymphatic Centre in 2016, Jean has been tireless in her efforts to support people living with lymphedema to use nutrition to lesson their symptoms and make their immune systems stronger.
