Ann DiMenna, Physiotherapist (CDT)
BSc (Biochemistry), BSc (PT)
Ann brings expertise from a wide variety of therapy settings to serve the Markham and surrounding York Region area. Ann is a graduate of the University of Waterloo where she received a degree in Biochemistry, as well as the University of Toronto where she received a degree in Physiotherapy.
Ann has many years of clinical experience treating in a variety of clinical settings, including private practice, inpatient hospital settings and home care. Ann has extensive experience in treating complex hip, knee and shoulder problems, including post-operative rehabilitation.
Over the years, Ann has continued to add to her clinical expertise with post-graduate training in manual therapy, McKenzie back care techniques and integrated lymph drainage. In 2008, Ann completed post-graduate training in Combined Decongestive Therapy and is fully certified to treat patients with lymphedema. She is an active member of the Lymphedema Association of Ontario and has attended various conferences in Canada and the US on lymphedema.
Anne Marie Chlorakos, Physiotherapist (CDT)
Anne Marie has over sixteen years of Physiotherapy experience. She is a graduate of The University of Western Ontario where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy. Anne Marie has had the opportunity to work in a number of different clinical settings including private practice, an industrial clinic, long term care facilities and home care. Anne Marie has completed many post graduate courses in the areas of manual therapy, McKenzie back and neck care, chronic pain management and kinesiotaping. Anne Marie completed post graduate training in Combined Decongestive Therapy from The Academy of Lymphatic Studies and is fully certified to treat patients with lymphedema.
Kaushika Logeswaran, Physiotherapist (CDT)
Kaushika graduated from University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland with a Masters in Physiotherapy. She is also a Registered Physiotherapist with The College of Physiotherapist of Ontario. Kaushika has gained a vast amount of knowledge and experience with general injuries, post-operative surgeries, sports injuries and musculoskeletal disorders. She is certified to perform Functional Capacity Evaluation, Concussion management and has recently certified as a CDT Therapist for treating lymphedema from Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy in California, USA. Prior to becoming a physiotherapist, Kaushika was a Registered Kinesiologist providing services in post-operative physiotherapy treatment, therapeutic modalities, exercise therapy, concussion rehabilitation and work conditioning program for long-term disability and WSIB patients. She is continuously looking for opportunities to enhance her quality of treatment. Kaushika’s main goal is to provide her patients with a positive experience during their rehabilitation process. Kaushika enjoys spending time with family and friends and goes to the gym in her spare time. Kaushika is also fluent in English and Tamil.
Selvi Aybulut, Physiotherapist (CDT)
Selvi is a graduate from the University of Toronto with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. She has experience working in several outpatient physiotherapy clinics, helping patients from all ages recover from sport and work related injuries. She has completed post-graduate courses to aid people in achieving their goals and returning to the activities they enjoy in a safe and efficient way. She is constantly looking for new ways to help her patients gain the most out of their therapy experience.
Amrita Khemraj, Physiotherapist (CDT)
Amrita graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. She has significant experience treating a variety of conditions such as sport and work related injuries, chronic pain and strokes. Amrita completed her training in Combined Decongestive Therapy with the International Lymphedema & Wound Training Institute (ILWTI) and is fully trained to treat patients with lymphedema. Amrita values client-centred practice and is devoted to delivering the highest quality care to her patients.
Sejal Bhatt, Resident Physiotherapist
Sejal graduated with a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from Robert Gordon University in Scotland. Prior to this she completed her Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto. She is a Resident Physiotherapist and is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Sejal has experience working with individuals within inpatient and outpatient environments, including clients under WSIB. Sejal is passionate about helping individuals with their mobility and wellbeing and is currently working towards her certification with the International Lymphedema & Wound Training Institute to treat lymphedema. In her spare time she enjoys reading detective fiction, and learning about different historical civilizations.
